Dr. Charlene
Dr. Charlene is a compassionate and dedicated dentist with years of experience working with children. Dr. Charlene believes that building a positive relationship with children is essential for creating a successful dental experience. She understands that dental visits can be stressful for children, and she goes out of her way to make them feel comfortable and at ease. Her gentle approach and warm demeanor have won her the trust of both children and their parents.
Dr. Charlene grew up in a small town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Her passion for tiny humans began when she first started taking care of young kids. Dr. Charlene moved across the country to attend Southern Adventist University in southeastern Tennessee, where she received a B.S in Biology and a minor in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biomedical research. She attended the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and developed a keen interest in working with children. After completing her degree, she started working in a private practice, where she has been providing comprehensive dental care to children of all ages.
In addition to providing routine dental care, Dr. Charlene has a particular interest in preventive dentistry. She believes that teaching children proper oral hygiene habits from a young age can set them up for a lifetime of good oral health. Her commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in childrens dentistry ensures that her patients receive the best possible care. Dr. Charlene loves working with children and is passionate about helping them have positive dental experiences while teaching them to maintain healthy smiles.
When Dr. Charlene is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, bouldering and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. She is excited to be a part of our dental practice and looks forward to meeting and caring for your child’s dental needs.
